Bufab once offered standard fasteners but now delivers high-quality smart solutions tailored to specialized custom needs, backed by engineering support to identify the best options for leg&go.
Challenge
Every leg&go bike is manufactured with the same care and responsibility for the little cyclists and the planet as the first prototype; now they simply produce more of them. Larger volumes and new developments require additional sourcing.
The challenge is that the visionary entrepreneur's primary interest does not lie in sourcing small parts.
Approach
Bufab already supplied standard fasteners. When Bufab inquired about the possibility of also providing the more challenging drawing-driven special products, leg&go became interested.
Bufab received the documents for all drawing-driven parts and began working.
Result
In addition to sourcing the parts, Bufab has provided leg&go with engineering expertise. The initial resourcing project resulted in lower prices and secured availability from a single source.
Now, it is a long-term relationship that reduces costs and time spent.
