This is Bufab – Meet Marzia Castellani – our new MD for Bufab Shanghai

Bufab Shanghai has its main operations in Shanghai, but also support customers from local warehouse in Beijing (north region) and in Xiamen (south region). The company consists of 55 employees and provides its customers with a full-service solution as Supply Chain Partner for sourcing, quality control and logistics for C-Parts. We deliver solutions, not products. With customer and quality as our first priority, our aim is to become the long-term partner with our customers.

Marzia Castellani is our new MD of Bufab Shanghai and has replaced Mathias Torstensson, who now fully will focus on his role as Director for Region Asia Pacific.

Marzia is born in Italy and has a long and successful career within various companies of the Fiat Chrysler group, both from sales and sourcing. She tells us:

“I consider China as my second home. The first time I moved here was in 1998, as a student in Beijing Normal University. Since then I have been working for Italian corporations but mainly operating in China: Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing and finally Shanghai since 2009. A lot has changed in China during these last 20 years – but I still find life here extremely interesting!

Marzia joined Bufab in the beginning of May and she has already learned to appreciate the values of Bufab. She says;

“Bufab is a large multinational company but still with a preserved and positive family feeling, and I really like it. I appreciate the corporate culture and the positive spirit and the countless possibilities and business opportunities. I am also very impressed by the incredible growth Bufab has done, especially during the recent years. I believe that the growth Bufab has achieved, is due to our professional knowledge of our industry. The organic growth has come along together with new important acquisitions around the world that supports all parts of our company and offering”

Marzia looks to the future;

“The potential of our local team here is great and I am looking forward to work together with all of them to define our future journey”, Marzia ends.
