How it works
EasyScale is a combination of bins and scales calibrated to a certain weight. When the weight of a bin falls below an agreed reordering weight an order is generated to Bufab. The scales are available in sizes from a single bin to a EUR-pallet. EasyTrack™ shows the weight of each bin in real time, in that way you will know the exact stock around the clock. The solution is suitable for one bin systems and on sites where stock levels always need to be precise.
What you will get
All bins are equipped with unique tags and when a bin is scanned an order is generated. There are different scanners available to suit your needs and the solution is suitable for one or multiple bin systems.
Vending machines can be an efficient tool for improving production and cutting costs. EasyVend allows you to distribute products such as tools, C-Parts, equipment etc. to your co-workers at your production site wih maximum cost efficiency. Misused or misplaced tools and products create considerable costs in every industry. Using a EasyVend allows you to better manage these critical inventories.
By using EasyDrop you will have a very easy way to refill your bins. When the bin is empty, just drop it in the EasyDrop, your collective place for all your empty bins, and an order is transferred to Bufab.
With EasyStack you get a very user-friendly and easy to use solution. When a bin is empty you stack them on the upper shelf with a rubber mat with a built-in antenna. When the bin is stacked on the rubber mat – a signal is sent out that the bin needs to be refilled.

We have close to 300,000 unique parts, covering every conceivable C-Part, stretching from traditional fasteners to complicated processed and assembled components in a variety of materials.
Our range is continuously growing and the complexity increases, all after our customers’ need.
C-Parts usually accounts for a large number of all part numbers in a bill of material. They are details such as metal or plastic fasteners (screws, bolts, nuts, rivets, pins, washers, etc.), other small metal-, rubber- or plastic parts such as cables, springs and electronic fasteners.

Volume vs Value
C-Parts are unique in that purchase price contributes only a small part of the total cost of a component, often as little as 20%. The remaining 80% of the total cost is made up of indirect costs in the form of:
– Logistics costs (forecasting, planning, ordering; incoming goods handling, inspection; warehousing, stock taking, stock control; internal transports and line feed; freight, especially express freight; capital costs, scrap and obsolescence).
– Sourcing costs (supplier sourcing, evaluation, verification; negotiation; supplier administration; parts administration; phase-out/phase-in costs).
– Quality costs (costs of preventive quality measures, such as SQA, and of corrective quality measures (scrap, rebuild), as well as indirect costs of quality such as line stops, rescheduling).
Through our Global Supplier Network we give you cost savings, assured quality, improved forecasting and, ultimately, higher productivity. We source parts from all over the world, drawing on our global network of more than 3,000 suppliers.
The suppliers are selected, evaluated and developed using Bufab’s global supplier process with the help of our global commodity managers and our purchasing offices. We want to build the world’s best supplier base and work with suppliers on a long-term basis by creating lasting relationships that contribute to our customer’s bottom-line.
Bufab has a long experience in EDI and implementing EDI at our customers, which will make the implemenation smooth.
EDI is a standardized method of transferring data between different computer systems. It is commonly used for sending orders/forecasts, tracking shipments, and creating invoices.

We always put quality and excellent customer relations first. Being a supplier to demanding customers worldwide calls for comprehensive quality procedures. The various Bufab companies have different quality assurance certificates, depending on the products supplied and clients served.
In addition to our own quality assurance procedures, our suppliers have the responsibility to fulfil our demanding quality standards.
Supplier Audits and Development
During the audit we assess manufacturing capabilities and quality assurance as well as sustainability aspects. We have high requirements on Code of Conduct and compliance to RoHS, REACh and Conflict Minerals.
Quality Labs in Centre of Excellence (CoE)
A our CoE’s we have the possibility to conduct various tests, such as;
• Tensile and Hardness test (micro-Vickers) and material preparation.
• Material Analysis (Optical Emission Spectrometer).
• Surface coating thickness X-ray and coordinate measuring machine, optical and tactile probe.
• Mitutoyo Measurlink statistical software. Complaint handling and inspection integrated in ERP.
Our management system Bufab Best Practice (BBP) is the platform that guides all companies to work in the most efficient way.
To assure that the Bufab Best Practice is used we have an ambitious internal audit and improvement program where all our companies are audited. We know that 1,200 people in more than 20 countries together are smarter than one. With our Bufab Best Practice management system, Code of Conduct and policies,
we are striving to create the best internal processes in our industry by 2020.
Considering each supplier requires negotiations, quality assurance actions, logistical handling, and separate handling of accounts payables, your best bet to cut costs is most likely to reduce the number of suppliers.
Even if the consolidation process requires some effort, you can rest assured that the money and time are being well invested. Depending on your goals and the scale and status of your operations, it is reasonable to expect a 20 percent reduction in the total cost of ownership.
The benefits of C-Parts Consolidation
In addition to on-time deliveries, the immediate benefits include more space and less tied-up capital – even if you buy monthly rather than yearly. The kits are controlled throughout the kitting process to ensure the correct parts are included and to the right quantity. Our kitting process has been designed to allow for the highest accuracy and productivity. Parts that are out of tolerance are rejected prior to entering the kitting flow.
