BUMAX® is produced in Sweden at one of our state of the art manufacturing sites. This site has been producing general fasteners since 1899, and in 1926 they began to specialise in the production of Stainless Steel fasteners.
BUMAX® is known and used worldwide as a high quality but competitive alternative in many applications to other non-ferrous materials, it is cold forged which is one of the key factors as to why it is known as the strongest stainless steel bolt.
It is available off the shelf in two grades BUMAX 88 and BUMAX 109 which are exact equivalents in strength to carbon steel grades 8.8 & 10.9.

Today have we the possibility to manufacture stainless steel bolts up to a tensile strength of 1700 N/mm² (17.9). This makes the BUMAX® product line by far the strongest in the market.

Additional to its strength BUMAX® offers superior resistance to corrosion, longer lifetimes and 100% recyclable meaning a lower impact on the environment.
Strong and more resistant fasteners equal less total cost for your application. Its strength enables engineers to work with smaller designs meaning less total material cost, combine this with longer lifetimes and zero maintenance this almost certainly means lower total cost.

We are able to manufacture standard and special products in two modern plants. Both plants hold the certification TS 16949 and ISO 9001_14001. Offering a large capacity and the most accurate precision required for manufacturing high-quality stainless steel, acid proof fasteners.
