Sustainability, economical use of natural resources and far-reaching accountability for the environment are the guiding principles of our environment policy, which permeates our entire business. We strive to exploit raw materials and energy as effectively as possible and to minimise our need for hazardous substances and chemicals. Our focus is that our products should be composed of recyclable material, free from harmful additives or alloys. In order to be able to live up to these goals, we carry on a continual dialogue with our customers and suppliers. We are convinced that proactive commitment to the environment increases the power of our attraction as a supplier, while it simultaneously improves our cost efficiency and competitiveness. At BUFAB , all employees feel a commitment to the environment. By each individual practising environmental common sense, production takes place with minimal impact on the environment.
In addition, staff members put forward suggestions for further improvements, such as how to minimise waste and reduce landfill deposits.

We consider it a priority that our suppliers do everything in their power to achieve environmentally compatible production. We try to influence and make them aware of the high environmental standards our customers set for us.
We even try to stimulate BUFAB's customers to make sound environmental choices and give alternatives for parts that are more environmentally friendly - or are manufactured in a more environmentally compatible way. We hope we can mutually make a small contribution increasing sustainability and minimising our impact on the regenerative process.
